Half term, and off to Portsmouth on the train with Ricky. We’d pre-booked the completely pointless but quite fun Spinnaker Tower – there are terrific views all round, into bits of Portsmouth that even Robin didn’t know were there. More to explore another time…
… and a glass floor, which Rick was only prepared to lie on, not look through.
Then on the ferry to Gosport and a visit to Brisbane Star, the boat which Robin has been sailing for the past few years with Maurice and members of the sailing club. An awful lot of things to fiddle with, but the boat is still intact.
