A wonderful outing to the headquarters of the Magic Circle, with nearly all the family (sadly Ricky was ill and he and Rachel couldn’t do it), but Hannah and all but one of her lot, and Robin and I and Dan and Em were all there.
The event is close-up magic, with four magicians rotating around four groups of about twenty or thirty people. Some of the tricks were truly mind-boggling (even Corin, a magician in his past, was impressed). We particularly liked the one who joined and unjoined bits of rope in ways you really couldn’t fathom.
Stupidly I was so boggled that I failed to take any pictures of the venue, which is very wonderful. Another time.
