Things to do with toothpicks 7… Rachel C has sent this gem from Lewes. You press on the top and it pops up and presents you with a fan of toothpicks. This is becoming such a collection that I will have to work out who I should bequeath them to. Google says that Iowa has a toothpick museum, but it appears to be models made out of matchsticks. And there are quite a lot of very hideous glass toothpick holders around the place – not a patch on mine. Otherwise there is a man who has built the Sagrada Familia out of toothpicks, along with a lot of other landmarks – he has has a travelling show of them all called Toothpick World. Perhaps he might find them useful…
I think this collection has to stay in the UK for future generations to enjoy and learn from; Furthermore, I am thinking – alternative Christening gift? Much more fun than a silver napkin ring and who needs sane Grandparents anyway?
