Rachel and Ricky came to eat. The kitchen isn’t finished yet – still handles to go on to drawers, a replacement work top for one made the wrong size, and loads of little bits. But a good meal was had – the end of Rick’s holiday before he starts secondary school at Acland Burghley on Wednesday.
