The great kitchen launch completely failed to be photographed by us, or indeed by anyone, as had one of the reasons for celebration. We were brought the most wonderful things by all sorts of people – fantastic flowers, books, kitchen fashion items and… Tatiana had filled in all our gaps by producing a wedding cake, complete with figures for the top constructed from various pictures of her and Peter and Robin and me at their wedding. I even have a toothpick bouquet to carry… (things to do with toothpicks 5). Absolutely brilliant.
…. and here we are under the mistletoe – another present – and Robin’s tealights in the garden. It’s all cleared up now, but it was a wonderful evening. Just sorry I didn’t talk to everyone for longer. I’m a pretty rubbish hostess.
