The mist came down and stayed at tree-top-height all day, making the walk from Seaton along the undercliff quite weird. It’s a 7-mile stretch of cliff to the west of Lyme which had a series of landslips, the biggest in the mid-19th century. The land has been allowed to regrow without any interference since then.
