The 50th anniversary production of Joan Littlewood’s Oh What a Lovely War at Stratford East, with Tim and Jennie and Hannah. It’s a theatre we love, as much for its outside as its inside theatre – the production was terrific, and we had the added bonus on the way back of seeing the Stratford Centre (not the revolting Westfield, but the old mall) transformed into a skate park with no-one taking the slightest notice.
