With weather set to be fairly foul again, and the knee in need of a quietish day, we drove down to Dulwich to see the Hockney prints, which are as wonderful as they ever were. There were some I didn’t know, and good explanations about the techniques he and his printmakers developed.

After that we went and visited the Herne Hill Velodrome which we’ve always meant to look at, and then had a very satisfactory samosa lunch in Brixton market. The wallpaper is great, too…
